Down and DeliriousThis series gets its name from Daniel Hernandez‘s book, Down and Delirious in Mexico City. It’s a reflection on living as an expatriate in a city of 20 million that manages to feel ‘third-world’ and simultaneously hyper modern. The photos document adventures with punks, late-night parties in the outskirts of the city, run-ins with corrupt cops and more. As Daniel describes it in his book, there is a unique type of “cosmic violence” in Mexico City that seems to permeate every aspect of society. And it’s a lot of fun. | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
